MOBILE TEAMS

Mobile teams play a crucial role during crises, conducting night patrols to prevent homelessness and assisting refugees upon their arrival in Belgium. In close collaboration with regional housing clusters and local authorities, these teams navigate the complex administrative system, offering counseling and advocacy to ensure refugees receive the necessary support for successful integration.

The operations of our Community Center are reinforced by a strong network of mobile teams, composed of both refugees and non-refugees, working both indoors and outdoors. These teams are rapidly deployed to address the diverse challenges faced by beneficiaries. Their flexible, responsive approach ensures that refugees receive timely assistance, while fostering a sense of community and cooperation.

The Mobile Teams provides assistance in the following services:

  • Information dissemination
  • Translation and interpretation services
  • Mediation
  • Surveys
  • Code of Conduct
  • Classes and activities at our Community Center
  • Mental Health
  • Prevention of sexual exploitation
  • Housing search
  • Coordination of round tables on employment
  • Screening of streets
  • Multitasking
