A wonderful opportunity to integrate into Belgian society and build a career with Marriott International was offered to all interested on June 12 at the Ukrainian Voices RC.
Marriott, which operates about 8,800 hotels in 138 countries, presented a variety of job opportunities for people from different cultures and backgrounds. Marriott is known for its inclusive and diverse environment, welcoming staff from around the world. Some hotels also provide on-site translators, prayer rooms, and help with navigating public transportation.
This is a great opportunity for everyone – even for those who do not yet speak the local language – to find employment and take the first steps toward independence and personal growth.
The event was organized in collaboration with UNHCR Belgium, Actiris, Umbrella Refugee Committee, and Ukrainian Voices RC.
The Ukrainian Voices sincerely thank each partner for their support, shared belief in human dignity, and real actions that change lives. It’s especially important to talk about employment, because it’s more than just having a job. It’s a step toward confidence, stability, and becoming part of a new community. Work brings not only income but also a sense of purpose, a chance to integrate, and to give back to the society that has welcomed people.
